On the 17 and 18 of may AEGEE Bucharest is organising an event “out of love ” for the city, as they put it. With sign up until the 9 it apperars to be some Sherlock Holmes wanna be type thing. For all those Private Eye wannabes *looks around* which would be a large crowd if we’d be in Scotland or the US if we switch Sherlock for Dick Tracy.
Targeting young active students with time on their hands *can also be read as bored * promises to take us on a quest to rediscover the old world charm of Bucharest and have fun while doing it, based on the extensive market research studies they have done *also know as: we tried it and liked it so the entire world must do so too *
In fact such tours/expeditions/activities have been going on for some time at the Calea Victoriei Foundation and they were advertised in Time Out.
So, yeah… sounds like a decent way to pass a couple of days ’specially since the AEGEE people mentioned pressies for the winners, since it’s a competition style event.
Despite my tone in this post I genuinely appreciate the idea and am seriously considering participating in it and I do hope they get over ran by requests and will organise other such things.
Or at least do give their website a visit and decide for yourselves .
